Trip Description

Bakewell, set in an enviable position on the banks of the River Wye, this old market town is in the heart of the Peak District. Famous for its puddings & Annual Events, it received the royal charter as a market town in 1330. 

Christmas is everyone's favourite time of the year, especially at Chatsworth. Every year the house is transformed as the lower floors are decorated to get everyone in the festive spirit. 
Discover rooms filled with Christmas wonder, sights, sounds and scents of the season. Travel under archways adorned with candy canes, handmade Christmas stockings and mistletoe. Explore a winter wonderland, glittering Christmas tree forest and now an outside Light Trail.
