Trip Description

The private Royal Gardens at Highgrove have been created with imagination and passion by the King.

Experience the gardens’ seasonal highlights & discover how he has transformed a landscape which was once merely a lawn into an ever-changing canvas of magnificent garden scenes. From the classic order of the Cottage Garden to the pastoral beauty of the Wildflower Meadow, discover unique spaces, along with hidden curios and horticultural innovations, on a tour that offers a personal perspective of this much-admired public figure.

Itinerary

ITINERARY - Short stop at Moreton-in-Marsh - length of time, traffic dependent.

Highgrove arrival time: 12.40 - Tour time: 13.00 (Tour length - 90 minutes)
The walking tour is done by one of TRH garden guides. Visitors with walking difficulties should be aware that some of the paths are unmade & there are no benches to sit on along the route. Please wear stout shoes & suitable clothing - tours continue even during wet weather.

Photographic ID is a must for all passengers and must be carried at all times.
Please bring one of the following with you: Passport, Driving Licence or Bus Pass - 2 x Utility Bills can used but only has a last resort if NO photo ID is available!

Mobile phones and photography is restricted to certain areas.
Binoculars & all forms of recording equipment are strictly prohibited.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Estate.

2 Course Lunch served with a glass of Highgrove House Wine (soft drink alternative) and a Tea or Filter Coffee to finish.
