Trip Description

Concorde, made a "faultless" maiden flight when the Anglo-French plane took off from Toulouse, France in 1969. On its test flight Concorde reached 10,000ft (3,000m), with a speed of 300mph. Eventually the Concorde would fly at a speed of 1,300mph. It was taken out of commission in 2003.

Marvel at Concorde’s unique aviation engineering on a 90 minute guided tour with pre-flight briefing, time on the flight deck and beneath the aircraft, exploring the technology behind the supersonic airliner.

Raised Viewing Mounds give a clear 180 degree view over the airfield.  There is a approximately 600 aircraft movements each day - always something to view.
Certain aircraft open to explore at the weekends. 

On site Facilities: Children’s Play Area, Aviation Shop, Concorde Restaurant and Coffee House.
Picnic Area with tables.
PLEASE NOTE: Visitors are asked NOT to feed the birds as they are a hazard to aircraft.
