Trip Description

Pickering Station – a must see 1930’s themed station that transports you back in time to the steam era.

Board the train from here to take you through the Yorkshire countryside to Whitby. This is not a direct train and will stop at stations along the route.
Price includes one way train ticket.

Railway 200 marks the bicentenary of the world’s first public railway, celebrating 200 years of rail history and its profound impact on industry, communities, and travel. It’s a moment to reflect on the revolutionary changes brought by railways, connecting people and places in ways once unimaginable, while also looking ahead to the future of rail transportation.

Any issues with steam trains on the day may mean the train ride reverts to using a diesel type.
