Trip Description

In Brugge life centres around the market square, bordered by old guildhalls and overlooked by the towns's 13th Century Belfry. The streets are old and cobbled. Chocolate and Lace Shops can be found on almost every street in Brugge and a visit wouldn't be complete without taking some home.

Ypres, a city best known for what happened here over a hundred years ago! The unofficial capital of Flanders Fields and site of numerous battles during the First World War. The “City of Peace” still commemorates these events, under the Menin Gate Memorial, every evening the Last Post sounds in tribute to the soldiers who fell!
