Harrogate is a boutique spa town, renowned for its quality shopping, floral beauty, Victorian Pump Room, Royal Baths and Bettys Tearoom. With a Spa heritage dating back from the Victorian 1800’s you can still visit the original Turkish Baths in the iconic Royal Baths building in the centre of town. It is renowned for its smart tearooms and classy cafés. Betty's Tearooms was established in Harrogate in 1919, where queues can be seen for Afternoon Tea and their celebrated shop every day.
Set in 5 acres of own grounds, the grade II listed 3* Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate was once the subject of much drama as the hiding place of the author Agatha Christie during her famous disappearance in 1926. Built in 1840, the hotel still retains an elegance and style but with a modern twist, with lift access to all floors and free WiFi throughout.
